Let’s Make It Happen: How to Become a Volunteer at Lake Baikal
Far from everybody knew what volunteering was ten years ago. Today the word “volunteer” is understood by almost everyone; 2018 has been officially declared the Year of Volunteers; more and more people are ready to render their help free of charge, participating in volunteer projects.
Question 1: Why is regulation of the water level in Baikal so important?
Answering the most common question: why fluctuations in the water level influence the lake ecology and could it be harmful to Baikal.
